Want a hohorst.net e-mail address?
No problem! As long as the name you want isn't already taken, it's yours for life. Just e-mail us at webmaster@hohorst.net and we'll set one up for you. Let us know:
- What address you'd like (e.g. gertie@hohorst.net)
- What you want your password to be
- If you'll pick up your messages yourself (e.g. using Outlook) or if you'd like all your messages forwarded to another address (make sure to tell us what address!).
hohorst.net E-Mail Settings
If you've already got a hohorst.net e-mail address and need help configuring your e-mail account in Outlook, use these settings:
- The type of account is POP3
- Your Name is, well, your name. Just type it as you want it to appear to the people you're e-mailing to
- E-Mail Address is the full address, as provided (e.g. zarathustra@hohorst.net)
- Both your Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail servers are mail.hohorst.net
- Your Username is the same as your e-mail address
- Your Password is the password you provided, or one we assigned to you. If you forget your password, we can't recover it,
but we can reset it to a new value for you. Just drop us a line.
- Under the Advanced Tab, be sure to set the Outgoing Server Port Address to 26. Otherwise you won't be able to send e-mails.
